• Yes... I purchased a 65" tv at the same time it it fits perfectly My tv is about 3' narrower than the stand. This unit is built solidly too.

• You bet it will work fine. When you put it together be sure to use some glue at the joints. That will make it a stronger piece of furniture. Also lay out each piece and know where they go. It will go a lot faster when you put it together. When yo get finished you will have a good looking and versatile furniture additions to your house.
