If the drone gets out of range it will land. If you watch the drone when it begins to reach its range limit it will start to correct its self and you can bring it back before it is to far out of its range limit.

There are apps to help manipulate it but the problem is that when you're out of range, you lost all control. Unless your in a big empty field... just say your goodbyes. some useful info: It shouldn't fly out of range. if it did, it's because of the wind. this thing has no power against the wind. this is an indoor drone if you ask me.
