- Answer The tello app works on almost any phone, I use it on various Samsung galaxys, a LG Stylo 4, a fairly cheap Moto, and even some older Alcatel phones. It uses the tello app, not DJI go 4 like the larger DJI drones, which DJI go 4 doesn't run on any of my cheaper phones..

Questionwhen you play what you recorded, will it play with music like the others?

- Answer It uses the phone or tablet that you are flying it withs microphone. So it will play with silence, or with whatever audio that you are nearby while recording. There are third party apps that can do that, also, the default editor on my last few iPads would do that also. But no, the tello app does not add background music.

- Answer You can if you download a separate app. For iOS you can download Droneblocks. There is a really very simple programing mode and then a more detailed expert mode if you want. It will launch/land, fly your drone forward, flip, and other commands.

- Answer There are block type programming apps for the tello. Also there is the tello edu app. I have run those on the first and second gen iPad airs, so a 2019 iPad will be no prob.

- Answer Not using the official Tello app. But there are other apps that add more features; TelloMe app for iPhone or Tello FPV app for Android.

- Answer It worked for my Android phone once after several hours of trying. I will never own an iPhone so it may live out it's day in the box because I have pretty much lost interest. I don't like fooling with tech that doesn't work.

- Answer You don’t need WiFi hotspot. The Tello shows up as WiFi network that you connect your smartphone to. Works better if there are no other WiFi networks too close.
