Does it work for SSD or only for SATA hard drive? null

While I have only used it for a 2023 model Samsung SATA SSD (500 GB), from my online research it should work for all SATA I, II, and III configurations. Which would include both HDD and SSD drives. And SATA I, II, and III configurations are backward compatible.

An SSD can come in the form of SATA or other type such as NVME. The drive must be SATA whether it's a hard drive or SSD. As long as your drive is SATA it will work for you. I did buy this unit and it is working well.
