• No, this gate is pressure mount only.

• No drilling needed. All you need to do is spread the gate from wall to wall and pull down the latch to latchit in place and that's it. Make sure it is in tight or it will fall down. Plus make sure that the latch is on the opposite direction so they can't play with the latch.
