How does it attach in the back...magnetic or? null

The back has an open slot with a form fitting half sleeve. The combination of device magnet and case half sleeve looks secure for keeping S-pen where it goes.

Look at product closeup photos. The back cover has a thin open faced sleeve with button & port holes which holds the device securely. The upper edge of the back sleeve has an inner velcro closure. No magnets. The folio front hinges up from the bottom. Then the front stays closed by strap, or it hinges back out of the way. Hinged back about 45 degrees it folds up to hold device 45 degrees from horizontal for viewing.
