- Answer The touch pad interfered with my iPad and despite the instructions on how to shut it off I continued to be a nuisance. I finally covered it with a piece of stiff plastic and fastened it in place with some black duct tape. It is hardly noticeable and it solved the problem. Hope it works for you.
