It doesn't leave residue. the stickiness isn't that great.

Mine could have been dry too but could be that it's not perfectly aligned like it's supposed to be. Bought 2 versions. 12 pro max doesn't fit correctly and giggles. 14 max pro fits perfectly. Both does not stick well. Just waiting for them to fall off
