- Answer Yes, the protector has a noticeable circle on the front which (I presume) is thinner so the scanner reads the fingerprints correctly. It can, however, make the sensor harder to read; I've had to re-profile my fingerprint a few times trying to get it working smoothly again

- Answer It does curve around the edge of the bevel on the screen, but leaves ~2mm between the protector and the phone body. This region is (in my experience) covered by a phone case though
