I have used it with Dragon voice recognition software, and it works very well.

I used it for a very large report I was working on, utilizing the built in speech-to-text program included with Microsoft 10 and it worked very well. My report included a number of medical terms and thought there were a few misses to start the program and the mic quickly got up to speed. I have also used the mic to issue commands to my PC like "open Microsoft word", etc. and it worked well.
