Can this work on my sony stereo null

It will work on anything that uses 3 pin XLR connectors. If your Sony stereo has XLR connectors, it probably will. But, I don't recall ever seeing a stereo of any brand with XLR connectors.

If your stereo uses the proper inputs for this cable. If not, then of course not.

Most Sony receiver and amplifiers don't have xlr connections. The fact that you are calling in a Sony Stereo, indicates to me that this product wouldn't work with it.
