It does have only the two prong access but most apppiances I have used overseas (toothbrush charger, hairdryer, shaver, celll phone) have two prong plugs without the grounding prong. Otherwise, you can buy an adapter to “daisy” with the converter to use a three prong into the two prong. Just came back from using it in Europe and it was great!! It turned out to be much better than the one I had been using for years.
