A:AnswerIn Italy you use the European. I plug in first the European adapter and into that I plug the converter and then my charger. It is better (safer) to use the converter, because the standard in the US is 110V while in EU is 220V. For some reason I couldn't plug the converter first in the outlet. The converter fits into the adapter and that was my solution. So:
1- EU adapter 2- Converter 3- cell phone charger
Everything worked fine.
A:AnswerYou never want to plug in anything that is not dual voltage and 50-60 cycle. If your electronics is dual voltage automatically you are ok, however if it has a switch on the item, do not forget to change the setting to the right place before plugging it in it you will be sorry.
A:AnswerDennis, I would not recommend using the adaptor for the mixer. You will be better off putting it in storage until you return to the US and purchasing a similar unit in Singapore. You may even find a dual voltage unit over there that you could bring back when you return. Good luck.
A:AnswerI don't think it will work. The voltage converter steps down from 220-240 to 110-120. It does not step it up. You probably need a plug adapter to plug into your 220-240 plug where your clothes dryer is located.
