It would be a tight fit but yea it should but I suggest get a bigger backpack. I have a Asus rog 17" and its a tight fit.

It definitely should. We bought an Asus 17.5 in and it fits. Not sure of the exact specs of the alienware but I would expect it to be the same

I think so. The pocket is adjustable. I have the Alienware 15 and there is still some room left.

I got a 17" Lenovo recently and needed a bag for it. My laptop fits into it perfectly. Room for other things as well.

My Wife's 17 inch Dell fits very well. Pocket is completely adjustable.

I am almost 100% certain that it would.

No idea for alienware but hp 17 inch fits easily

Probably... I'd have to see if the backpack was of the same caliber.
