“We followed the written instruction for the SlimFry feature and although we were able to adjust to the correct number for the item, when we clicked OK and went to the knob to adjust the quantity we get an option of 25r or 45r. Other features do the same”

The 25r and 45r aren't actually what they seem. They represent 2SR and 4SR which stands for 2 servings or 4 servings. It then automatically adjusts the time according to the size of the meal.
