I'm happy to help with this, AmyJ! For this model, to turn the sound on/off, you'll need to press and hold both the left and right arrow buttons (located around the "OK/clock" button). You'll need to hold both of these down for about 3 seconds. If you're still unable to turn the sound off, we'd be happy to speak with you directly for further assistance.
