• It shouldn't. I've had that happen with a microwave before (the one I bought this one to replace), but this unit appears to be good quality. I guess only time will tell, but with normal use I expect it to be fine.

However, if an issue does occur, the manufacturer's warranty covers parts and labor on repairs for one year from date of purchase, as described in the written warranty terms.
