“Vent on Microwave I need to know the measurements of where the unit hooks up to the outside vent. Is there an installment manual so I can finish sheetrocking the wall. Also can this be hard wired or does it plug into the wall. Where does the outlet have to be installed?”

It plugs into a standard outlet, the vent is on the top, toward the rear. The size is standard for over stove microwave. the cord is a couple feet long.

This and other Samsung Over the Range Microwaves come with the wall and cabinet mounting templates indicating the exact placement of all bolts and cutouts for ventilation and the power cord. The Microwave comes with a grounded 3-prong power cord factory installed which should be plugged into a dedicated 3-prong wall outlet rated for 120V/60 Hz/20 amps. - Ms. Samsung
