• This model is recommended to be installed on a cabinet at least 30 inches from the top of the stove.

• There are 20” between my range top and bottom of microwave. I wouldn’t want them closer due to height of some pots, but distance apart would depend on one’s height. A taller person may feel more comfortable with them further apart, but I think the only real limit would be personal preference and upper cabinet height.
