Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It is made for mounting under a wall cabinet. The unit needs to be attached to the cabinet above and have about 14" of clearance below it (about 30" of vertical space for the microwave and clearance below).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Karen, Samsung doesn't recommend installing the ME16H702SES as a built-in unit since it doesn't have legs to rest on securely, and the exhaust fan and cook top light could become damaged or cause damage if they were turned on without sufficient clearance under the unit. Samsung does have a Countertop Microwave, the MC12J8035CT, which, with the addition of the MA-TK3080CT Trim Kit, can be installed as a built-in. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't recommend that as you will lose the functionality of the exhaust fan and light unless you don't intend to use those features. If you don't, then with modifications under the counter top as in making a shelf or extending the wall out to make the microwave flush with the cabinets I wouldn't see why you can't. Just my opinion. Good luck.
