“It says in specs no night light? What is the cooktop light? Are they the same?”

• The SMH1713W does have a cook top light that can be set to Hi, Low or Off and can be used as a night light if you wish. There is also an option to set a timer so the light turns on and off at the same time every day, until you choose to change it. • The cook-top light has a high and low setting. So although the specs say no night light, the cook-top light on low setting is basically a night light.
