Thanks for asking, kbd! First, I'd like to provide this link (https://bit.ly/3q2dewg) to the user manual for this model. Page 17 has a diagram with the necessary dimensions to fully open the door. Also, page 26 has instructions on how to reverse the door to open the other direction if that is preferable. ^Jecca
