• Chromebooks are compatible with Skype messenger, but not voice or video calls. If you need that you can always try Google Hangouts. Skype is owned by Microsoft and doesn't natively run in the Chrome Browser. You can always install a Linux distro on this device and go that route if you're knowledgeable about that kind of thing.
