Q: QuestionI have a problem where this refrigerator when plugged in will work. After a couple of minutes it turns off. When I open the refrigerator door all lights are off and fridge does not appear to be working. Will this refrigerator work without smart app?

Yes, this fridge model works manually without the use of the SmartThings app. The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet, which has a voltage rating that matches the voltage listed on the refrigerator's rating plate. This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading of house wiring circuits, which could overheat the wires and cause a fire hazard. Q: QuestionHi there, I need to confirm that this model will not exceed 29" away from the wall that it will be installed on. Is this the case, or do I need to allow for electrical wire, water lines, etc?

• A:Answer With space for the plug mine sits exactly at 29" at the top but 30" at the bottom from the wall. The top of the refrigerator is slightly angled to the back for what I assume is drainage.

• A:Answer Yes, that's exactly what I do. I disabled the Icemaker and removed the ice bin. Something to note, the ice making mechanism protrudes into that section of the freezer when the door is closed. So you don't get the full depth of that area.

The best way to learn is to ask a nearby business, like BestBuy if they can attach a magnet on the door. Q: QuestionIs the height of 70" including the hinges and door? We need 1 foot of the "body" back to fit in a space less than 69"high; the remaining body, door and hinges could stick out further than that, and 70" high would be fine. Would that work with this one?
