A:AnswerHi Frankysnacks! I can provide this link (https://bit.ly/38KoO9f) to the user manual for this model. Page 47 has instructions on how to properly remove the ice bucket. ^Jecca
A:AnswerGreat question, Molly! Because the ice maker is built into the actual design and framework of the refrigerator, it is not able to be removed. I will note that we do have several models available that come without an ice maker. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi Gabe!
Glad you asked about the ice tasting bad on your Samsung Refrigerator, and we apologize for the inconvenience, which was less than ideal. We are always here to help.
The first few gallons of water in a brand-new fridge may taste or smell bad, and will any ice made from that water. We recommend dispensing 2 to 3 gallons of water to flush the system and throwing out the first batch of ice the fridge ever makes. Refer to this link for your reference: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01209062/#ice-tastes-bad.
I also shared this link about "Ice Maker is not Working" and selected "Ice Maker makes Small, Cloudy, Dirty, or Clumped Ice": https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001012/.
