• A:Answer Yes, that's exactly what I do. I disabled the Icemaker and removed the ice bin. Something to note, the ice making mechanism protrudes into that section of the freezer when the door is closed. So you don't get the full depth of that area.

• A:Answer Hi Lyn, Samsung increased the ferrous material in the stainless steel panels to make them magnetic. The magnetic models and those that are not, however, are not recorded in any way. The best way to learn is to ask a nearby business, like BestBuy if they can attach a magnet on the door. You might also call them and ask one of the representatives if they can attempt to avoid sending you in for a visit. Have a great day. -John

Q: QuestionIs the height of 70" including the hinges and door? We need 1 foot of the "body" back to fit in a space less than 69"high; the remaining body, door and hinges could stick out further than that, and 70" high would be fine. Would that work with this one?
