QuestionHow reliable is the ice maker and who actually works on Samsung? Both have been lacking in terms of positive response.

- Answer Our Samsung ice maker works perfectly, provides us more ice cubes than needed. Not sure who works on them service wise as we have not had any problems, although we did purchase the extended warranty so would assume the Geek Squad may provide service if and when needed.

QuestionIs the listed freezer capacity volume (5.5 cu ft) based on what the baskets can actually hold, or the entire dimensions of the freezer compartment? Also, can the ice maker be turned on and off as needed?

QuestionAre the sides black in color? Or gray?

- Answer 8/13/2024 ~ Had mine delivered today and the side was a concern as it is easy to see from the living room. It does not match the front. It is not silver/stainless. It is a textured material, charcoal gray in color , darker than the front but not jet black. Hope that helps.
