• its automatic for as i can tell, suppose to for temp control. it doesn't seem u can turn that feature off. Unless fridge isn't working, least what i can tell.

• Hi there Marie! This model does not have an option to turn off the door alarm. Closing the door temporarily will reset the door alarm. ^Jecca
