Actually, this refrigerator has the ice maker already installed. However, you will need to purchase a water line for the ice maker. You will also need to let the water cycle a couple of time before the ice is without a funny taste. The ice maker is dispensed into an ice tray and it even has a little scoop to pick up the ice.
