“I have a 50” Samsung TU8000, will this soundbar power on with the tv or does it need to be turned on separately? Also, has the “digital audio in” issue that many reviewers have mentioned been resolved?”

Hi Eric! Yes, the HW-S40T features the ability to turn on when the TV turns on by detecting a signal through the optical cable. ^Tim
