Q: QuestionWill this connect to a Samsung - 40" Class 5 Series LED Full HD Smart Tizen TV? When I connect this does it replace (shut off) the TV's speaker? Or is that a setting?

• A:Answer michaeldantep, The HW-S40T is compatible with the 40" N5200 - you can connect the soundbar to your TV via Optical cable. When you select the soundbar as your audio source, the TV speaker audio will automatically switch to your soundbar audio. ^Gina

Q: QuestionIs this speaker compatible with my Samsung UN28H4500AF television through the IR out since there is no 'Bluetooth' connection available in this TV? OR can the speaker be "wired" to this TV in some fashion? Thanks!

Q: QuestionWill this soundbar connect to my desktop computer by using the optical cable? My computer only has a slot that says SPDIF and I'm not sure if that's the same as optical.

Q: QuestionHI, I just got Samsung HW-S40T Soundbar and can't get it upgraded. I tried different USB brands and types (mostly SanDisk 3.0) but couldn't upgrade. Any USB brand and type that it's know to work?

• A:Answer Hi gesiBE! There are no recommendations for USB brand or type to use. Important note: Make sure there are no music files on the USB thumb drive. This may cause the firmware update to fail. Also, make sure the USB can accommodate the size of the firmware update (3.71 MB) and be sure to unzip the file before putting it on the thumb drive. ^Patty

Q: QuestionSamsung 70" 4K- running optical out from the TV- Lip sync issues are bad on Cable and from internal apps HW-S40T SB Model I have adjusted the sync on the soundbar but it only does so much and does not hold it's memory. Any suggestions?

• A:Answer Hi there, When connected to the TV by optical cable, and that device is not powered on for 20 minutes, the Soundbar will turn itself off. If you have a Samsung TV with OneRemote then it will turn on and off with the TV. ^Jeremy
