“Is this speaker compatible with my Samsung UN28H4500AF television through the IR out since there is no 'Bluetooth' connection available in this TV? OR can the speaker be "wired" to this TV in some fashion? Thanks!”

Hello MrEDquestion, Yes, the HW-S40T can also be connected via optical input. An optical cable is included in the box. ^Cristian
