I enjoy the sound that comes out of this bar , I also love the fabric that it’s wrapped in . It was very easy to setup, 1, 2, 3 and your done . I live in an apartment and didn’t want neighbors complaining about base from a subwoofer , so it ended up being perfect. However what I don’t like was it was hard to get the battery compartment open on the remote and I don’t like the fact that you can’t see the numbers of the volume, bass, etc as your adjusting them , overall it’s a nice sound bar for the price .

Amazing great sound quality looks even better mounted

I went with the soundbar since I did not have a huge space to fill. The sound bar connected seamlessly to the TV and works perfectly for my installation/application. There are more costly/advanced Samsung soundbars to consider but this one did the job at a nice price point.

I didn’t think a sound bar would make much of a difference in voices while watching TV. But, I must say it has really helped distinguish voices in all programs that I watch. Very happy with the results.

Great overall sound bar. Great sound and looks great in the living room. Easy to set up and pair. Only reason I didn’t give it the 5 full stars is because I can’t tell if it’s my little ones or if the sound at disconnects from the TV every once in a while. So then it doesn’t automatically turn on, when the tv is turned on which then you have to turn on the sound bar separately.

Sound bar is good quality for the price. There is a bug that when it's hardwired with the optical cable it will say digital audio in randomly when it's not being used. Typically happens every hour or so. I found that if you switch the setting to bluetooth it doesn't have that issue. There is a slight lag between the sound and picture when using bluetooth but that could just be my setup.

Sound quality is fairly good however, I had the same problem as other reviewers - it would randomly announce “Digital Audio On” when the soundbar was off - scary as it came on loud in the middle of the night! A call to Samsung didn’t help nor did researching their website. Here’s the solution: The GeekSquad came out and its now fixed. The audio wire that connects the soundbar to the TV is easy to damage. I was told there are small sensors in it. It was removed. Using the Blue tooth capacity does not require this plug. Also the guy configured it so I just use the TV remote for both soundbar and TV. The remote that comes with the soundbar did not work nor was it designed well. I just ended up tossing it. If you can do these 2 things, its worth keeping.

The soundbar was easy to sit up for my TV and with my PC for online music streaming. The remote control was a little hard to work with at first, but like always, it takes time to work with the buttons. The only problem I had was putting in the batteries in the remote control. I know the user manual said to slide the back cover in the direction of the arrow until it is completely removed, but lots of luck on the first try to remove that cover!!

I've admittedly never owned a sound bar until now because I've always viewed them as pricey and unnecessary, but I am happy I was able to take advantage of some great holiday sale pricing! Pairing was quick and seamless with the Samsung tv I recently purchased as well. I love that once paired the sound bar automatically comes on when powering the tv. Sound quality is great, and there is a huge difference in volume compared to using the tv speakers alone. I did not expect much since this was on sale for such a great price. If you live in an apartment like me and want quality sound without breaking the bank or risking eviction due to noise complaints, this is the sound bar for you!

Works great but the voice guide is annoying. I connected the soundbar to my desktop and every time I turn on my desktop, the narrator will say "digital audio in" and it's SUPER LOUD! I can't find a way to disable her voice, nor can I adjust the volume. I even tried adjusting the volume on my computer before I turn it off, but no luck. The sound is amazing, but of course you can't expect too much from a soundbar under $200 versus those that cost $600 plus. Another thing I dislike about it is that the settings will not display on my monitor. So whenever I use the remote, I just listen to the voice guide until I get my correct settings. Speaking of remote! This remote is a huge flaw! I still can't open the back cover using the normal method. I looked up videos and forums and turns out many people had the same issue. I warmed up the remote with the stove (you can also use hairdryer) and couldn't push the cover out so I had to use a knife. Given I did use my nails, a razor, AND a knife for 2 hours trying to open from the sides before warming it, yes this is indeed frustrating! It's one of the most dumbest design ever and whoever designed it is just so very unintelligent. So hear me out, after I got the cover opened, I installed the 2 batteries and closed it. I tried to open the cover again, but failed to do so. I guess I'll have to use the alternative method and let's hope the battery will last a while. (note: I used Duracell batteries just in case the ones that come with it don't last long -- can save me some frustration) Update: voice guide/narrator volume is controlled by the soundbar remote. So BEFORE you turn off the soundbar, make sure you reduce the volume. Otherwise, the next time you turn it on, the narrator/voice guide's volume is based on the last setting (and it can be very loud).

I had an old soundbar but recently it started just cutting out and I'd have to leave it unplugged for a while to get it working again, so it was time for a new one. I got one and had problems with it, then I got this one. This is decent soundbar, but there's a few things I don't like. the sound fluctuates between different sources and even with different TV channels, so you can't find a typical volume you're comfortable with and keep it there across TV or Blu-ray or streaming. I think this may have to do with the digital audio cable being the only connection available, because the other one I bought recently had digital and RCA connections and the digital on that one also would change but the RCA didn't. It also likes to increase the volume when loud stuff happens, or music plays which I don't personally like. The display is also pretty bad, it doesn't show any kind of leveling, just has some lights that blink each time it's turned up or down, but they're on top so you can't see them unless it's mounted or you're standing real close to the TV. Apart from that, voices are clear albeit just slightly digital sounding, not quite true-to-life, but it's acceptable. The bass doesn't overpower the dialogue.

Positive: super easy to set up, sound is decent and can be very loud if need be. Negative: when you start your tv the sound bar says loudly that it is ready and you can’t adjust the volume for that, not sure if we can put volume control through the tv or Apple TV remote so having to use a separate remote for volume is a hassle. Wish sound level scale was on the front instead of the top, so we could see what level the sound was at when adjusting it.

As you would expect, the sound is much better than the TV speakers, although still not as good as component receivers with the proper speakers can provide. It comes with an optical cable that plugs into a Samsung TV (and maybe others, I haven't checked). Set-up is easy, although the instructions for settings could have been clearer.

The quality of the sound is really amazing, however this is the second one that I purchased because I could not get the remote to work with the first one and I could not get the remote to work with the second one either I was on the phone with Samsung and they’re sending me a new remote let’s hope that this allows me to control the sound bar with a remote

This sound bar makes music sounds so much better. The quality and size for this price is good. I do wish it was easier to play sound from my TV though, they only give you one cord which does not fit my TV

The sound is pretty good for a budget soundbar! I just wish it displayed bass/tremble level as its being tuned to your liking. You have to play it by the ear. Another thing, it turns itself off randomly and turning my tv off as well. It doesnt do ut while we watch t.v. but it dies do it while we play on our consoles. Havent figured out a fix for that unfortunately. I do recommend this product purely on a budget standpoint though but if you can afford a bigger splurge ignore this model.

This Samsung sound bar was an excellent buy. The price was a bargain and the sound quality is top notch. It was extremely easy to connect to my LG TV and the spoken dialogue for TV/movies is excellent and streaming music produces a quality sound. I would highly recommend this sound bar!!

Good soundbar, pretty decent sound for the price. It does not have any HDMI options - so you have to connect via optical audio or Bluetooth.
