“Is there a simple and easier way to get the back cover off that remote?!! I had to literally warm it with a hairdryer and then use a razer to pop it open. Pathetic design....”

No, literally there seems to not be an easier way to remove the back cover. I used a thin sharp object that scratched the cover. Good idea to use the razor... Samsung needs to improve the remote cover, but my son loves his sound bar for his young adult cave...

I live in a Senior Community so no one could help me, finally a man put his whole hands with lots of pressure on the top and bottom of the remote then slid it towards the arrow. Shame on you Samsung Designers!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi! The remote control features an arrow on the backside of the remote towards the bottom. Hold the remote and push with your fingers in the direction of the arrow to remove the battery cover and replace the batteries. Slide the cover back in place until it is secure and flush with the remote. ^Tim
