“I connected it to my desktop, but how do you turn off or at least adjust the volume for the voice guide? Every time I turn on my desktop, she would say "digital audio in." It's so loud even when I adjusted the volume before turning it off.”

Hi there! The voice volume on your HW-S40T Soundbar will match the volume that your soundbar is set at; there is no way to decrease the voice volume without decreasing the volume on your soundbar. ^Gina

On the Samsung Soundbar HWS4OT for the speaker, there is a speaker symbol on the left side of the remote-third down with a line through it. Press this and you will have no sound. Press again and you will have sound. For the volume, press the volume tab up for loudness and down to lower the volume. I got this info from reading my manual.
