• My cable remote(Spectrum) controls the tv and the soundbar very well. No need to use the soundbar remote at all.

• Bith my TV remote (Samsung) and my Xfinity cable remote work though the cable remote requires turning it on with the soundbar remote.

• If you have a cable remote No. If you do not have a cable remote you must use the sound bar remote and the Television remote separately.
