“I've been looking for a soundbar since I'm losing my hearing in my right ear (at about 35% now). I have a Westinghouse tv thats about 3yrs old. Will this work with my tv, and is the sound great when people whisper in movies? Movies are the hardest to hear”

I can't respond about a Westinghouse tv. I have a new Samsung. But, my children accused me of going deaf, when I knew I wasn't. It is just that tv speakers are terrible and point the wrong direction. I was hearing via reflecting off the walls, which required high volume. My sound bar (at a reasonable price) made a huge improvement. I can hear my tv in only one room now. I can't guarantee hearing dialogue in movies. That is much better now. However, there is still an issue of actors talking lower as background music goes louder. I am guessing that movie theaters have three channels of sound, right, left and center. Tv's only have right and left (stereo) sound. The sound bar will probably make your problem better. But, I doubt that it will be a cure-all.
