“Cannot get sound bar to work. The blue light is flashing on sub and I hit power button, but I can't tell wither sound bar is even on. There no lights or anything on it. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?”

If you mounted it to the TV with a flat bracket and the holes on the soundbar, the bar display is facing down. You will need to either make new brackets or find brackets with a 90 to mount it correctly.
