Yes assuming your TV has fiber optic output on the back. Cable is included to connect the TV to the soundbar. This is also assuming you connect your cable box via HDMI to the TV. IF your TV does not have fiber optic out, your cable box should. IF fiber optic is not available on your TV or cable box, your TV or cable box may have standard RCA audio-out jacks (red and white) which you could connect to the soundbar via the 3.5mm (headphone/aux) input. You just need to buy a RCA to 3.5mm cable which is usually cheap (under $12).
