“if I can't route the optical through the wall, is it possible to mount the sound bar flush with the bottom of the TV to hide the optical cable? Or does the sound bar sit on the cabinet under the TV?”

It's comes with hardware to mount the sound bar to the wall.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This sound bar is designed to be either mounted or to sit in front of the tv. If you have a Samsung tv I've read that there's a specific mount you can get to join the tv & sound bar. Otherwise any mount I think should suffice.
