• Yep - works like a charm. You go into your Samsung TV > Audio settings, select "External Speaker" and bam! Even my cable remote automatically started controlling the soundbar volume. The nicest thing is that you turn the TV on, and the soundbar fires up automatically - turn the TV off and in a few minutes the soundbar turns off too.

• I have this sound bar connected to a Samsung tv. The tv remote turns the sound bar on with the tv and controls the volume.

• Bought this item last night and my TV remote (Samsung) will NOT control the soundbar. It will turn on and off with the TV but not volume. The soundbar info sheet tells how to set the TV to do this but there is NO place to "add device" in my TV"s settings. VERY disappointing, especially since they are BOTH Samsung products.
