• It depends on how you've got your TV set up. My soundbar sits right in front of the TV, on the media stand. Since the TV and stand don't take up the entire depth of the top of the stand, there's room for the soundbar.

• I placed my sound bar right under the tv and the bass box is hidden behind the sofa

• My TV is mounted on the wall. I mounted the sound bar above TV and sub speaker below on shelf. The sound bar has to be close enough to TV for the optical cable to reach the TV. Not sure how far of a range there is for the blue tooth to connect up with the sound bar for the sub speaker. It is wireless.
