Yes. You can change bass and treble. And don't know about the ps4 but I think a yes too.

Press until the sound at display displays treble or bass and you can adjust the level with the arrow buttons. For PS4 you can plug the optical cable into the PS4 or if you have PS4 audio through your tv it should come through the sound at with the optical plugged into the tv.
