“Is it just me or the subwoofer is not as loud.. I tried messing with the settings to see if it would improve, but no luck. It works, wish it was loudr”

I had no problem with my subwoofer, go to this site: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201604/20160411110847930/HW-K450_ZP_ENG_WEB_IB-0411.pdf Go to page 9 and 10 and follow instructions how to to make your subwoofer loud. No book came with it, I had to download it and I learned a lot from it. Good luck guys, I hope this is helpful to you all.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.face the woofer side to a hard surface like a wall, the bass will transfer drastically from the box to you home, if you position it right and if you live in an apartment your neighbors are going to hate you ;)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't worry it's not just you. I have messed with the controls too and still would have liked it better if it was louder and that's even with the optical input. I guess Samsung forgot to add the *humph* to their subwoofers.
