• I have mine behind a couch where there is not direct connection.. The Bluetooth technology makes this possible...

• Should be able to, I put mine in a cabinet under the television. I only have about 2" of air space on each side of the subwoofer and it sounds really good. hopefully you bought the wireless rear speaker to go with the system, it sounds great. However, I have mine set up in my 5th wheel trailer.
