• You connect the sound-bar via Optical input to your TV. This will allow you to experience sound-bar play from all of your HDMI connected devices. By doing this, it allows you to play music via your Bluetooth connected device while "watching the game." NOTE** if you do this, you lose the ability to sync your remote with your TV.

• Well, I use the fiber optic cable that came with this sound bar. I have a 50" 4k t.v. It's like their made for each other. I love the stadium sound you get from the samsung sound bar. Movies and playing the game are fun to me again because of the quality sound.

• Yes, there are two options, the optical link or the HDMI (ARC) output. The soundbar does not include the HDMI cable needed for the (ARC) output. This is the preferred output connection for the soundbar.
