I had the same trouble. Carefully follow the instructions for pairing (where you use a ballpoint pen to push the special button on the subwoofer). Pay attention to when to have the soundbar "off" while you are doing part of the routine on the subwoofer. If you carefully follow the instructions, it should work. I'm no genius... you can do it! :-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The User manual has instructions to pair the two. Did you try that? Here is the instructions: 1. Plug in power cords of the main unit and subwoofer into an AC wall outlet. 2. Press the ID SET button on the rear of the subwoofer with a small, pointed object for 5 seconds (the STANDBY indicator turns off and the LINK indicator (Blue LED) blinks quickly. 3. Press the mute button on your remote control for 5 seconds wile the main unit is turned OFF. 4. The ID SET message appears on the display of the main unit for a short period of time, and then disappears .5. While the subwoofer's indicator is flashing blue, press the power button on your remote control or on the right side of the main unit to turn on the main unit. 6. The connection is complete if the indicator on top of the subwoofer stops flashing and glows continuously. (if connection process fails, the blue indicator will flash continuously. go back to step 2 and try again.
