• yes it can. i actually have this connected to my older samsung tv myself with the same connections you have. it works good you can also connect it up via optical cable. i can even control the soundbar with my tv remote. the only down side is that i have to manually turn it off with the soundbar remote. but it turns on when i turn on the tv and works with the tv remote.
