“My T450 is hooked up via the optical cable to my Samsung 43" Smart TV. I noticed improved sound while watching regular tv but when I watch a streaming channel, I have to turn up the volume a lot. Any suggestions?”

Jim424, programs can sometimes be recorded or broadcasted differently, which can result in an increase of volume when switching to different sources. Your TV may have settings such as Auto Volume, which helps to avoid volume fluctuation when changing between channels or sources on the TV. ^Gina
