• There are aftermarket stainless steel kits (and other colors) you can get. Search "Microwave Filler Kit" or "Over Range Microwave Filler Kit". I easily located two companies with good reviews that make them. If you can use the standard kit (two 3" wide panels) they run around $130. I was able to get one of the companies to send me a sample of the metal to make sure it's the same finish.

• No, it does not. It only fits the standard opening. I believe that's 30 inches. As for where you can get something to make it fit, I have no idea but you will need to because it won't fit that opening out of the box.
